Custom Set with Stabilized Dyed Redwood handles

This photo essay below shows the basic sequence in my process. The Redwood came from a company in Canada
who injected black dye, and then stabilized the burl wood.
Set is copied from stainless units which were mailed to me and copied in high carbon steel.
Below: Longest unit is 12". All stainless.

Steel was ordered, traced and cut out from O-1, 5/64" thick tool steel.
The two pieces at the bottom were already made
out of in house 1/16th" thick.
